Mizuho notes that a Bloomberg article published Friday morning states that a unit of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, or ADNOC, is considering an investment in UGI Corporation's AmeriGas and references a potential valuation of "several" billion dollars, though it is unclear if this refers to enterprise value or equity value. The firm, which assumes the former, notes that the subsidiary has about $2.35B in net debt and estimates that a $3B valuation would therefore imply about $700M of equity value. Assuming a 49% stake, this would bring in about $350M of capital, added the firm, which has a Neutral rating and $27 price target on UGI shares.

A unit of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, or ADNOC, is considering a potential investment in UGI Corp.'s propane distribution unit AmeriGas, people with knowledge of the matter told Bloomberg's Vinicy Chan and Dinesh Nair. State-owned ADNOC is working with advisers to discuss the possible purchase of a stake in AmeriGas, the report said. A transaction could value AmeriGas at several billion US dollars, the sources added. Shares of UGI are up $1.74, or over 7%, to $25.53 in Friday morning trading following Bloomberg's report. Telsey Advisory raised the firm's price target on Tractor Supply to $275 from $250 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares following the company's Q1 earnings preview. The company continues to execute well in rural America and, while there are near-term headwinds from macro pressures, the firm is confident the long-term earnings growth potential remains strong, the analyst tells investors. Further, many industry tailwinds catalyzed by COVID-19 should continue to support sales, the firm adds.

Barclays raised the firm's price target on Tractor Supply to $234 from $192 and keeps an Equal Weight rating on the shares ahead of the Q1 report. The company's core consumables still seems to be moderating, but potentially offset by seasonal drivers and gross margin strength, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm is not expecting any change in Tractor Supply's outlook.
