Stephens analyst Jack Atkins raised his price target for Forward Air to $54 from $50. The analyst was encouraged by the company's in line Q1 results and, while Forward Air's Q2 guidance was "modestly below" consensus, he thinks management is trying to "under promise" in an effort to rebuild investor confidence. Atkins says the company is well positioned for earnings growth in 2016 and reiterates an Overweight rating on the shares.
