BB&T analyst Kevin Sterling downgraded Forward Air to Hold due to the deteriorating operating environment. Sterling expects volume and pricing trends in the the back half of the year and into 2017 to be pressured, particularly as forwarding customers continue to report weaker volumes and given challenges in the overall truck market.
