Morgan Stanley analyst Jay Sole downgraded Genesco to Equal Weight citing slower than expected US footwear trends and the impact from Brexit. Sole said Schuh division sales have slowed noticeably since Brexit and no longer sees a major opportunity for upward earnings revisions. The analyst lowered Genesco's price target to $74 from $79.
