Citi analyst Andrew Schmidt upgraded Green Dot to Buy and raised his price target for the shares to $68 from $66. The financial technology company offers an "increasingly wide range" of financial services to U.S. consumers and businesses, Schmidt tells investors in a research note after taking over coverage of the name. He believes Green Dot is poised to continue to benefit from improvement in its core reloadable prepaid card business, addressable market expansion and utilization of assets as a "Banking as a Service" platform that enables new use cases at scale.
