DA Davidson says that Gigamon (GIMO) and Ixia (XXIA) are both in the network visibility market. The firm thinks that Ixia's Q1 miss caused Gigamon's shares to come under pressure. However, the firm does not believe that Gigamon has a negative read through from Ixia's results, partly because only 23% of Ixia's revenue is derived from the network visibility business, according to the firm. DA Davidson keeps a Buy rating on Gigamon.
