Jefferies analyst Douglas Mavrinac upgraded Golar LNG to Buy saying the company is "very well positioned" very for a near-term increase in global LNG shipping volumes as well as potentially stronger crude oil/LNG prices in 2017. The analyst believes the LNG shipping market is "on the cusp of improving" and he raised his price target for the shares to $39 from $19.
