As previously reported, BofA/Merrill upgraded Golar LNG to Buy from Neutral and maintained a $32 price target. Analyst Ken Hoexter said LNG carrier rates reached a 6-year high last week, rising to $140K/day. Hoexter believes Golar is well positioned to capture the rise in rates and believes the market will remain tight due to the full order book. Additionally, the analyst upcoming power auctions to act as a catalyst for shares.
