Piper Jaffray analyst Erinn Murphy upgraded GoPro to Overweight from Neutral after taking over lead coverage of the stock. After Piper surveyed 6,200 teens with an average age of 16.3, Murphy believes the GoPro brand is seeing strong adoption. She points out their survey indicated teen family ownership of GoPro's moved up 520 basis points year-over-year, with family ownership nearing 18%. Teens directly command $75B of discretionary spending, Piper points out. Murphy has a $55 price target for shares. The action camera maker closed the trading day up 26c to $44.48.
