Oppenheimer believes that Goldman's Q1 results were very good, but that "the jury is still out" on the company's fixed income trajectory. The firm says that only 85c of the EPS beat came from higher revenues, with 30c coming from a lower tax rate and 20c from lower non-compensation expenses and 15c from a lower comp ratio. The firm keeps a Perform rating on the shares.
