SunTrust analyst Greg Miller slashed his price target on GTT Communications to $9 after its "materially" weaker than expected revenue in Q2 as the company appears to be "struggling with Interoute acquisition as well as slower-than-expected installations." The analyst also notes that the billing credits were soft and and margins were about 300bps below consensus, but keeps his Buy rating on the stock longer term based on the company's free cash flow potential from improved execution.
