William Blair analyst Justin Furby says his firm is "aggressive long-term buyers" of Guidewire Software on today's post-earnings selloff. The above-Street Q4 results, "bullish" pipeline commentary and raised expectations for fiscal 2019 license and other revenue are the bigger takeaways from this print, Furby tells investors in a research note. The analyst admits, however, that these are "likely to take a near-term backseat" to management's commentary about a couple of pushed InsuranceSuite cloud deals, a $7M charge caused by a longer than expected rollout at one of its strategic cloud customers, and a reduced view of revenue and margins for next year driven by some one-time items. Furby keeps an Outperform rating on Guidewire.
