As previously reported, Stifel analyst Joseph DeNardi upgraded Hawaiian Holdings to Buy from Hold, stating that the consensus view implies a 3.7% RASM decline, which he believes assumes an overly-bearish view on North America-to-Hawaii revenue relative to capacity. His $1.24 estimate for Q1 EPS is nearly double the consensus view of 65c. Beyond Q1, consensus expectations "appear more rational so we view this as a one quarter call," DeNardi noted. He raised his price target on Hawaiian shares to $40 from $34.
