BofA analyst Erika Najarian upgraded Huntington Bancshares to Buy from Neutral with a price target of $16, up from $15. The analyst is more positive on the company's "revenue defensibility" after meeting with its CEO Steve Steinour, which should warrant better market multiples relative to its peers. Najarian further believes that it is the right time to take Huntington Bancshares out of the "penalty box" related to its acquisition of First Merit.
