Stifel analyst John Baugh lowered his price target for Home Depot to $245 from $255 after giving 2020 sales and operating margin guidance below consensus estimates at its investor and analyst conference. Baugh tells investors in a research note that the tone of the meeting from the sell side and investors was "fairly negative," and says he thinks 2020 will be a transition year. While no guidance was provided for CY21 or beyond, Baugh adds that he believes there should be leverage from investments. The analyst maintains a Buy rating on the shares.
