Needham analyst Richard Valera initiated Harmonic with a Buy rating and a price target of $7. The analyst cites the company's "leading position in providing next-gen virtualized CCAP and distributed access architecture infrastructure to cable providers", having doubled its revenue from Tier 1 customers to $91M. Valera adds that while Harmonic's Video business should see "flattish" growth trajectory, its margins are improving.
