As previously reported, Raymond James upgraded Harley-Davidson (HOG) to Market Perform from Underperform. Analyst Joseph Altobello is slightly more constructive on shares following his Q1 US dealer survey that indicates another quarter of flattish US retail sales combined with a base period of dramatically easing comparisons in Q2 and Q3. The analyst believes guidance for flat to down modestly in 2017 is much more realistic and sees the wind down of Victory by Polaris (PII) as a potential tailwind.
