Baird analyst Craig Kennison cut his price target on Harley-Davidson to $45 from $50 after dealer checks assessing October/November trends reported "little floor traffic" in the period. The analyst, who maintains a Neutral rating, is modeling a 10% decline in U.S. retail for Q4, consistent with the YTD pace through September. After cutting inventory by over 30% since 2016, dealers appear "comfortable" with current inventory levels, he says.

Harley-Davidson continues to expect: HDMC revenue flat to down 9% and operating income margin of 12.6%-13.6%, HDFS operating income flat to up 5%, LiveWire electric motorcycle unit sales of 1,000 to 1,500 and Harley-Davidson capital investments of $225M-$250M.
