William Blair analyst Daniel Hofkin recommends using the current pullback in shares of At Home Group as an opportunity to add to positions. The impact the impact of tariffs on imported products from China is likely to be "considerably smaller" than some may fear, Hofkin tells investors in a research note. Among various categories, the tariffs would affect furniture and furnishings made from a range of materials, including bamboo, rattan, wood, and reinforced plastics, for example, the analyst points out. He believes, however, that At Home Group "should be considerably better positioned than average to withstand the tariffs." Further, Hofkin thinks the company's business "remains solidly on track, with trends nicely improved relative to the weather-affected first quarter." He keeps an Outperform rating on the shares.
