Piper Jaffray analyst Troy Jensen says HP Inc.'s (HP) Multi-Jet Fusion 3D printer, which officially launched yesterday, "could be game changing for the industry." Although the first printer will not ship until later this year, HP has partnered with a number of industrial manufacturers to test the product, Jensen tells investors in a research note. He believes that while HP's Multi-Jet Fusion will be viewed as a competitive threat to Stratasys (SSYS) and 3D Systems (DDD), the launch will help bring much needed awareness and validity to the space.
