Leerink analyst Danielle Antalffy says HeartWare's termination of the Valtech acquisition is the right strategy at the moment. The stock is likely to trade "sharply higher" today now that the company can focus all its resources to its core LVAD business and shareholders avoid what would amount to nearly 30% dilution from a Valtech deal, Antalffy tells investors in a research note. She reiterates an Outperform rating on HeartWare with a $60 price target.
