RBC Capital analyst Arun Viswanathan initiated Huntsman with an Outperform rating and a price target of $37, saying the company's earnings power has been improved by its optimized portfolio and the focus on "less cyclical / higher margin businesses". Viswanathan believes that Huntsman is "underappreciated" by investors given its "significant" free cash flow opportunity as well as its "flexibility to pursue organic and inorganic growth", while still increasing stock buybacks to limit the downside risk.
