Wells Fargo analyst Michael Sison initiated coverage of Huntsman with an Outperform rating and $28 price target. The analyst notes that while the company's near-term earnings outlook is challenging because of the "bottom like" conditions in MDI pricing in China, he believes that the company's portfolio management to more specialty chemicals remains underappreciated. Sison adds that with a solid balance sheet, Huntsman offers investors cyclical upside potential with more stable sales if the economy improves.
