JPMorgan analyst Borja Olcese upgraded InterContinental Hotels (IHG) to Neutral with an increased price target of GBP 43.50. The analyst sees a lack of negative growth drives and catalysts "for now." The analyst prefers shares of Accor as well as Marriott (MAR) and Hilton (HLT).

Barclays raised the firm's price target on Marriott to $240 from $239 and keeps an Equal Weight rating on the shares as part of a Q1 lodging sector preview. The firm says the Easter shift dragged down March, making Q1 RevPAR beats less than likely. However, the analyst still expects more or less in-line EBITDA for the large caps.

IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG) launches Apple (AAPL) AirPlay in the first phase of hotel rooms, giving guests the ability to stream content privately and securely from their iPhone or iPad to the TV in their guest rooms. AirPlay is available at more than 60 hotels in North America, including properties like InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta, Hotel Indigo NYC Downtown - Wall Street and Holiday Inn & Suites Ottawa Kanata. IHG is the first hospitality company to provide AirPlay functionality as part of its in-room entertainment experience.
