Piper Jaffray analyst William Quirk recommends buying shares of Illumina on any pullback after his channel checks came back mixed. Quirk's channel checks found 25 HiSeq X installs for Illumina in the quarter compared with his estimate of 40. The analyst says the checks leave him cautious but admits he's likely not capturing all installs and bookings during the quarter. He thinks Illumina's business "remains healthy," however, and keeps an Overweight rating on the name.
