Piper Jaffray analyst Stan Meyers said IMAX "has a lot to prove" with its Q2 report next week amid worries about the threat of seat upgrade initiatives at U.S. theatres and about Wanda's Groups current IMAX footprint and backlog, though he sees these issues having limited impact and remains a buyer of IMAX shares at current levels. Meyers keeps an Overweight rating on IMAX ahead of its report, due next Wednesday.
