William Blair analyst Dmitry Netis says the downgrade yesterday in shares of Infinera, driven by doubts about the pace of innovation and worries about the general industry pricing structure, is not based on new concerns. Netis left a recent meeting with management with greater appreciation for Infinera's near- and long-term opportunities, future product roadmap, and customer demand. He continues to see an attractive risk/reward profile and believes Infinera "has started to turn the corner." Netis reiterates an Outperform rating on the shares.
