Catch up on today's top five analyst downgrades with this list compiled by The Fly: 1. Intel (INTC) downgraded to Sell from Hold at Loop Capital with analyst Cody Acree saying the company finished 2019 with solid performance and its Q1 guidance calls for "better than normal" seasonality, but he warns that the annual compares upside will "deteriorate quickly", with Intel's own 2020 guidance calling for just 2% growth in revenue. 2. Comcast (CMCSA) downgraded to Neutral from Buy at UBS with analyst John Hodulik saying he expects 2020 to be an "investment year" for the company as increased capital expenditure and investment in Peacock pressure its free cash flows. 3. Discover (DFS) downgraded to Neutral from Overweight at Piper Sandler and to Underperform from In Line at Evercore ISI. 4. JetBlue (JBLU) downgraded to In Line from Outperform at Evercore ISI with analyst Duane Pfennigwerth saying he contends that the company's revenue execution has been mixed and "may continue to be two-steps forward, one-step back" given competition from both network and low-cost carriers. 5. Take-Two (TTWO) downgraded to Neutral from Buy at MKM Partners with analyst Eric Handler saying he maintains a positive view on its longer term position as the "best run publisher in the video games space" and points to its strong base of titles, but attributes the rating change to increasing concern about the lack of visibility in its 2021 content pipeline. Reports Q1 revenue $2.2B, consensus $2.2B. "Thanks to our incredible crewmembers and our reinvigorated focus on improving reliability, our operation performed above plan in the first quarter, resulting in revenue and costs coming in better than expectations," said Joanna Geraghty, JetBlue's chief executive officer. "As we look to the full year, significant elevated capacity in our Latin region, which represents a large portion of JetBlue's network, will likely continue to pressure revenue and we expect a setback in our expectations for the full year. We have full confidence that continuing to take action on our refocused standalone strategy is the right path forward to ultimately return to profitability again." "We've begun rolling out the initial components of our refocused plan. In the first quarter, we announced a number of significant network changes, which are designed to free up unprofitable flying and reallocate it to proven leisure markets where JetBlue has historically won" said Marty St. George, JetBlue's president. "Demand remained healthy in peak periods, and in particular, we saw encouraging performance from our domestic and transatlantic flying, as well as continued outsized demand for our premium seating options."

The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded Intel Foundry Phase Three of its Rapid Assured Microelectronics Prototypes - Commercial, or RAMP-C, program, the company announced. "The award was announced through the National Security Technology Accelerator's consortium-based Strategic and Spectrum Missions Advanced Resilient Trusted Systems Other Transaction Authority program. The third phase of RAMP-C advances the tape-out and testing of early defense industrial base product prototypes, signifying a critical milestone for the program that highlights the readiness of Intel 18A process technology, intellectual property and ecosystem solutions for high-volume manufacturing. As part of the announcement, RAMP-C customers can begin manufacturing commercial and DIB product prototypes on Intel 18A process technology," Intel stated. Reference Link
