CLSA analyst Jereie Capron downgraded IPG Photonics to Outperform from Buy and lowered his price target to $92 from $98 following the Q1 miss and lowered guidance. The analyst believes the company is in the early stages of an investment cycle, which when combined with a soft macro environment and difficult comparisons will results in limited earnings growth for the next few quarters.
