DA Davidson analyst Thomas Diffely lowered his price target on IPG Photonics to $175, saying the industrial laser market recovery that started in Q1 has been reversed by two months of deteriorating market conditions which should keep activity below expectations during the second half of 2019. The analyst keeps his Buy rating on IPG Photonics longer term however given its position as a "technology leader and low cost provider".
