KeyBanc analyst Hans Chung started coverage of iQIYI with a Sector Weight, viewing fair value as $21. The analyst believes the company has a competitive advantage in producing original content and content distribution, while content spending is also expected to moderate going forward. That said, Chung has not seen evidence that quantity and quality of its original content are rich enough to differentiate among competition and drive revenue and margin upside in the midterm at a level that would justify upside in the shares from current levels.
