Jefferies analyst Steve Volkmann removed Ingersoll-Rand (IR) from his firm's Franchise Picks List saying the margin story seems better known at current share levels. The analyst believes He believes Kennametal (KMT) "represents a more compelling self-help story and is earlier in the execution process." He keeps a Buy rating on Ingersoll-Rand.
