After meeting with iRobot's management, JMP Securities says that the company's first indoor visual mapping product, set to be unveiled by the end of the year, will "take much of iRobot's portfolio to the next level of intelligence, performance, and smart home connectivity." The firm thinks that the new system will enhance iRobot's attractiveness as an M&A candidate. It contends that the stock has dropped "on misplaced concerns" and reiterates a $44 price target and Outperform rating on the shares.
