After Ziff Davis, the digital media subsidiary of j2 Global, lost the auction for Gawker Media to Univision, Citi analyst Walter Pritchard removed j2 from his firm's US Focus List. The analyst viewed the Gawker acquisition as a key near-term catalyst for the shares. The analyst keeps a Buy rating on j2 Global with a $73 price target. The stock is trading down 2% to $66.21 in early trading.
