Piper Jaffray analyst Brooks West views Johnson & Johnson's (JNJ) medical device business restructuring as most positive for Stryker (SYK). Dislocation in hips, knees, trauma, extremities, and spine at a time when Zimmer Biomet (ZBH) is still working through the integration process could benefit Stryker, West tells investors in a research note. J&J's news is also favorable for Zimmer as it could lose less share in large joints and benefit in trauma, the analyst contends. He also sees benefits for pure spine companies K2M Group (KTWO), Globus Medical (GMED) and NuVasive (NUVA), in that order.
