As previously reported, BofA/Merrill upgraded Juniper Networks to Buy from Neutral and raised its price target to $30 from $28.50. Analyst Tal Liani believes the Q1 report will prove to be the low point and expects improvements in revenue growth and margins in 2H2018 and 2019. Liani said the MX and PTX transitions are almost complete, and expects new products with advantages in performance to drive market share gains. The analyst said Juniper's position remains solid with carriers and should benefit from metro and 5G build-outs.
