Morgan Stanley assumed coverage on Janus Capital with an Underweight rating from an Equal Weight rating and lowered its price target to $16 from $20. Analyst Michael Cyprys said the addition of Bill Gross is a positive but flows have been disappointing and a turnaround in the equity business will take time to generate consistent and accelerating flows.
