Commenting on the monthly housing data for August released by the California Association of Realtors, Buckingham analyst Megan McGrath says she believes it confirms her view that the California market is seeing generally improving trends along with many other markets, although may still be lagging overall as a region in terms of growth. Further, McGrath thinks the data is supportive of her Buy rating on KB Home, which has a high exposure to California and an increasing community count in that region. Slowly improving California trends with stable inventory should support order growth and stable pricing, she contends.
