Stifel GMP analyst David Stewart downgraded Kirkland Lake Gold to Hold from Buy with a price target of C$56, down from C$71.50. Stewart said he doesn't think Kirkland Lake will return to its "historical sector-leading premium multiple" due to the fact that Detour Lake is not an asset the market generally ascribes a high premium to and because Fosterville exploration is on the decline.
