BofA analyst Ross Gilardi lowered his price target for Kennametal to $25 from $27 and kept an Underperform rating on the shares following the company's Q2 results, which missed estimates, and a deep guidance cut, its second in four months. In a research note to investors, Gilardi says while the environment remains difficult, competitor Sandvik reported SMS margin of over 20%, vs. Kennametal's 4.8%, while producing "record" free cash flow.
