As previously reported, BofA Merrill Lynch analyst Robert Ohmes upgraded Kroger to Buy from Neutral following the company's announcement of an exclusive U.S. partnership agreement with Ocado, stating that the opening of up to 20 automated warehouses could expand Kroger's trade areas significantly and help solve the issue of its "click-and-collect" having been more cannibalistic than at other grocers. The analyst, who also views Kroger's valuation as "compelling," raised his price target on the stock to $33 from $28.
