As previously reported, Bernstein analyst Dhananjay Mirchandani upgraded Liberty Global to Outperform from Market Perform saying the project Lightning in the U.K. will lighten up standalone growth prospects and FX tailwinds are being ignored. Further, the analyst points out "compellingly attractive" valuations and M&A upside. Mirchandani also raised his price target on the shares to $40.50 from $35.40.
