After The Wall Street Journal reported that LendingClub (LC) is in talks with Citigroup (C) about financing for future loans, BTIG analyst Mark Palmer said he views the news as an important initial sign of support of LendingClub's platform. LendingClub's regulatory investigations are less important than are indications that it will have sustainable sources of funding, Palmer tells investors. The analyst keeps a Buy rating and $9 price target on LendingClub shares.
