Wells Fargo analyst Ed Caso noted that yesterday the Department of Energy announced that it awarded a potential ten-year, $4B contract to Leidos (LDOS), the current incumbent, and its partners for the Hanford Mission Essential Services Contract. Caso, who notes that the group led by Leidos also includes Parsons (PSN) and Centerra Group, said this recompete win completes one of two recompetes facing Ledios, with the other being the GSM-O contract that is still outstanding. The analyst thinks investors should respond favorably to the news, he added.
