Cowen expanded its coverage into the discrete electronic components space, with analyst Karl Ackerman initiating Littelfuse (LFUS), Semtech Corporation (SMTC), and CTS Corporation (CTS) with Outperform ratings and $210, $56, and $34 price targets, respectively, and Vishay Intertechnology (VSH) with a Market Perform rating and a $17 price target. Ackerman said he likes Littelfuse the most on the long side, calling it an "under-the-radar play on power control" and "a proven integrator of a fragmented supply chain." The analyst felt that Vishay had the "most near-term risk," saying it was the "most exposed to distribution headwinds, suppressing the 10%-20% EPS growth target."
