Canaccord analyst Mark Massaro noted LabCorp surprised by lowering its Q4 top and bottom line guidance, but he believes the downside move of roughly 10% is overdone. He said the lowered guidance was mainly due to revenue accrual accounting, though he also believes the company is losing market share. Massaro maintained his Hold rating and lowered his price target to $155 from $162 on LabCorp shares.
