His bull case, which he views as "fairly conservative," suggests a share price of $55-plus is "seemingly obtainable" with continued operating leverage and a "modestly" favorable macro backdrop. LPL could double earnings by 2019, Katz tells investors in a research note. He keeps a Buy rating on the shares with a $47 price target.
