JMP Securities cut its price target on La Quinta after the company lowered its full-year guidance and announced that its CEO was stepping down. The firm notes that the company said it expects demand challenges during the rest of the year. The firm expects the stock to drop sharply on the news, but it continues to be upbeat on the select-service space and it keeps an Outperform rating on the shares.
