FBR Capital analyst Christopher Rolland urges investors not to overreact to news of Lattice Semiconductor CFO Joe Bedewi exiting his role on April 2. Some may view departure as "indicative of an uphill selling process" after Reuters recently reported that Lattice had hired Morgan Stanley to evaluate interest from potential buyers, Rolland tells investors in a research note. The analyst points out that Bedewi was geographically separated from his family and may have sought a position closer to home. He believes the company's selling process has not concluded and that Lattice could ultimately fetch a price of $8.50 per share or better. Rolland keeps an Outperform rating on the name with a $7.50 price target.
