Goldman Sachs analyst Lindsay Drucker Mann met with lululemon management and said the biggest takeaway was optimism around business drivers, both near-term and multi-year, with a path towards continuous improvement following Q1 execution issues. Mann expects a re-acceleration across assortments in the very short-term as management is that Q1 softness was execution driven rather than a reflection of persistent business headwinds. The analyst sees further drivers in the back half from increased influence from new SVP of merchandising, Sun Choe, as her influence on assortment will be fully reflected and lululemon laps poor execution in cold weather styles in 2016. The analyst rates lululemon a Neutral with a $58 price target.
